These are good videos to remind yourself how stupid the average person is and to adjust your communication accordingly.
For example, when I write project proposals I always forget most people don't understand the meaning of doing things in phases or steps or take everything literally.
Especially the latter are difficult to work with. I give examples of ecommerce solutions and they're like: "Yeah but that's not the product we're selling" and then I have to tell them:
"It's the same process regardless of the product". "Like on Amazon, you can buy lots of different things but the payments (unless it's a digital subscription or whatever) are the same no matter what you buy."
They nod and repeat: "Yeah but that's not the product we're selling" and then add: "Also the process is not the same, the price is different"
It amazed me how far into college the following would occur. You would be in a lecture and the prof would say, "and the average american eats 3 bananas a week therefore we can ," "Excuse me professor. I don't eat any bananas."
