The sad truth for GAF is that is a forum for nerds, by nerds, and run by a nerd who makes nearly a half a million a year from said nerds.
This latest wave of creeper activity reinforces this truth. I know a sizable contingent on GAF oh so desperately hopes that they are simply computer savvy social butterflies, that they are just totally chill dodes, like a zanier Aziz Ansari, but there are a lot of fucked up nerds (of both genders, see: Koshiba) that roam the boards. When nerd delusions and reality collide, it gets ugly.
I'm not going to condone that kind of stupid and shitty behavior but people do need to be aware that GAF isn't some uber trendy place where chill dodes and cool chicks like to hang out: it's a popular nerd hovel, but a nerd hovel nevertheless. People in general should be wary on what kind of personal information they give out on GAF. This should be common sense but alas...
