This may sound surprising but I agree. I like the faction system and the game is far more crazy than FO3. Seeing a random person come by and you need supplies? Kill em. FO3 felt desolate in comparison with people rarely popping up unless it was quest related. Walk in to a town? Welp. Here's a town where the legion have crucified the entire town. Have fun!

Maybe I should get back to it, but I haven't "beaten" Skyrim yet. But the thing is, FO3 really clicked with me from minute one but for some reason I find NV harder to get into, though it's better written and has more interesting set pieces and situations for role playing.

There was the birthday thread hostility, which I think was completely stupid, but which was posted by AShep, who rarely posts in NBA-GAF.

Then apparently in the GAF IRC channel, Timedog was talking about random shit, and two guys from the thread asked him for nudes.

Certain members of NBAGAF talks shit about other members over and over again in their threads, and obsess about certain members and coordinate attacks on those members through nonGAF channels. Most of NBAGAF are cool, but most of the members also dont do shit to curb the distinguished mentally-challenged behavior of these select creepy and obsessive few.

That's just icing on the cake when Lore was already really pissed at them for being too insular.

But then again, according to one NBAGAF asshole who PM'ed me to taunt me about some post a guy made about me (and was shortly long-term banned for), they are "having a party" and happy that the thread got closed. That's the kind of juvenile attitude a select few of the posters have, and shit has been going on for months and months and months that most of the non-NBAGAF forum are not privy to.

The birthday thread had some a few C+ tier trolls in it, but that's not what caused the thread to be closed. And I have no idea what you're talking about with the IRC nudes thing...
