We had this discussion in one of Skidmark's threads: eating out of the dumpster is incredibly unsafe because it is rare that perfectly good food gets thrown out. Just because it looks safe doesn't mean anything. For instance, most meat is injected with shitloads of chemicals to maintain its red color.

I guess if shitting your guts out frequently is your thing, go for it.

I dunno, it's always been my impression that politics, and religion threads are pretty terrible in terms of getting people banned. Though, I don't read either so I don't find myself in that situation.

Instead I find myself in situations where I get banned 3 months for sarcastic comments about a device I own, and think is great.

I saw a story about Dumpster Divers on Oprah a few years back. I think Oprah may have paid to have those dumpsters lined up with cool stuff cause some of the stuff they got looked mint. I wouldn't eat that stuff though.

I worked at a grocery store in a college town right around the time eating out of the garbage was considered scene and hipster (2006-2007). We used to LOL at the rotten (literally) shit people took from the dumpsters.

You were banned because you were annoying the shit out of nearly everyone with that idiot shtick. I saw numerous people making appeals over Twitter to a particular mod to get you to knock it off. I'd recommend revising your character when you go back to GAF, because once you've started to annoy the moderation staff, you're not going to get the benefit of the doubt other posters would in questionable situations and you'll likely end up banned again.

Look to Andrex for advice - he was on the exact same path at one point, but he (generally) learned to smarten up and keep his head down. That's your future at GAF, and it's all because you couldn't stop nailing yourself to a cross over a chunk of plastic.

I got the message that people were growing tired of that. I legitimately tried to make an effort to stop, which is why the ban surprised me. It occurred on Vita Game Heaven day, yet I was one of the few who didn't think that the sky was falling on Vita. If there ever was a day for me to shout Vita doom from the top of my lungs that would've been the day. I knew it was getting on people's nerves, and trust me when I say that I'm not proud that Googling "neogaf takao" gives you results like this.

When I come back I'll drop it entirely, because I don't want people to know me as the Sony emo or some shit. I'll change the text on my avatar to read "Takao already dead?" or something since it seems to be a common belief that I've been permabanned, the fact that some think that's believable is damning in itself. Besides, there are others who've replaced my "Vita Doom" place with legitimate belief in that.

A while back we were talking about shows from our pasts, this show's pretty young but did any of you guys watch Xaolin Showdown? There's a new version of the show called "Xaolin Chronicles". The character designs look pretty much the same, but now the show features CG animated bits once they enter the showdown. I'd post the trailer but it seems it's been taken down from a lot of sites.

Nah, I remember posting the spectacular Canadian Dragon Ball Z opening in this thread. Okay sure, Dragon Ball is still a show in the present for me, but meh.

Also, that Code Lyoko show is coming back. I hated that show with a passion though. The animation and character designs were so ugly. The new show's supposed to be live action/cg.
