Evilbore was pretty belligerent towards GAF in the early days.  Hell, the front page used to have two mentally challenged individuals wearing sunglasses in a car, one supposed to be EviLore and the other Hitokage.

Not sure why it is censored now because things have long since cooled off.

Depends on what board you go. GBS is a cesspool but good for general news and laughs and photoshop shit. Debate & Discussion is a fantastic debate forum where we discuss politics, news, media, hot topics like racism and religion in depth. Games is great, most people there are nice people, but can gang up on others, but each thread has its own tight knight group. Moderation on Games is the best moderation I've seen for a gaming forum of its size. TVIV (television forum) is mostly great; it's where Zephyr Fate finds all the awesome shows he pimps, great forum for lesser known television and in-depth tv discussion, the problem being that many of the people there are GBS rejects and are highly pc, so if you call a female character a bitch they'll call you out for being a misogynist. Cinema Discusso (film discussion) is pretty boner, I have learned a lot about film and and lesser known films there; great film community. The sports communities are really helpful, nice, and always willing to please especially in The Ray Parlor (soccer forum). You would fit in the music forum real nicely, you can check it here:

Overall, Something Awful is worth the 10 dollar price to post and lurk. Even if you don't post, there's a crazy amount of interesting topics and threads that are still informative even without contributing.

Eh, if the value's there anything can be worth paying for. It seems counterintuitive to apply to forums, but it still holds true. SA's strength is its community (which basically created Let's Plays, Slenderman, etc.) If you want to be apart of the internet zeitgeist and don't want to deal with 4chan, SA is your best best.

Fernando technically got him and his wife banned for posting on each other's accounts, particularly due to Fernando using it to get around his ban at the time.  But that was the just the technicality he was banned on.  The mods wanted him gone, he was annoying as fuck, he was irritating everyone, he was trying to turn GAF into the Fernando and Daniela show, and multiple people complained about him.  The mods were looking for any reason to send him on his way, and he gave them one.

So don't think of it so much as mod protection for Devo/Time Dog (although I'd argue accidentally posting on each other's account is *not* the same thing as intentionally posting on your SO's account while your account is banned), think of it as most people can get away with it here and there as long as they haven't put themselves on the hit list by being a dumbfuck.

Right, and that was one point on what we call a "list".  Devo qualifies for more than one item on that list, but she doesn't qualify for the top item, which is to say, the mods don't want her gone.  Fernando ticked off every box on that list, including the most important one.  If Devo finds herself on that mod shitlist, then I guarantee the next time she so much as returns a library book late, she'll be gone.  That's how it works.

Also due to him being a shut-in during formative years he is going to be incredibly awkward with other human beings, thus limiting his job potential.
