I think next gen I'm gonna get the WiiU and PS4 (already have a 3DS). I like the classic Nintendo franchises and I mostly play Japanese games, so this makes the most sense. Doesn't seem like MS is gonna even waste their time courting the Japanese market this gen, and I don't need to blow $1500+ on a gaming pc since most of what I play on PC are non-technically demanding indies. Vita I might pick up in a firesale.

Having never played the first, I don't particularly care one way or another what happens. But from a cursory understanding of the events, it seems that Nintendo is invested in the title and pretty much the only reason that it's coming out at all. At the very least, you have to think they've got it locked down for a significant chunk of time?

Why do people think Bayo 2 will end up on another system? It's history that both Oscar and another GAF poster(his tag was "is to reasonable") say that this game was basically killed by Sega and now that Nintendo has come and saved it. Why would they resuce a game and allow it to be released somewhere else? I could only see that happening if it was a collaboration with Sega. Is Sega mentioned in it's credits? When has a Nintendo published game ever been released later on another system?

Wow, this thread just prompted the weirdest memory of mine. During one of our vocabulary units in 7th grade, we learned about the word "ajar" -- slightly open. For some reason, my hormone-filled mind came up with the image of a girl holding her legs slightly open, just barely enough to see her vagina. For at least a year after that, I'd get aroused by just thinking about that word.

Unchallenged titleholder for 'most worthless trading card set ever made' is the ProSet Super Stars MusiCards from 1991. I got a box of the packs at a garage sale run by my babysitter. I wanted some Star Wars toys, but my dick babysitter who ran the sale convinced me into buying these.

I got all the unique cards in like 10 packs, and the other 20 packs were all duplicates. They are so cheaply made that they could be Happy Meal inserts and people would feel ripped off getting them. I even got bored opening the packs. It takes some serious bullshit to destroy a first grader's fascination with opening wrapped things. To add insult to injury, MC Hammer's card shows no hammerpants so he looked like a black Liberace with mystery hips.

I still thought these cards were amazing for no good reason other than my babysitter said they were. Dick!
