There are too many libertarians. Everything from Birchers to The Economist style liberalism flies under the libertarian flag. Hell Reason magazine made the case for french style universal healthcare over our current system and David Koch sits on the board of trustees for the organization/magazine but exerts no editorial control. So there is always "one" issue. For me it's the war on drugs and imprisonment of more people than any other nation on the planet. I'm in fucking lockstep with other libertarians on the issue but think goldbuggery is ridiculous and austrian economics has more holes than a negative railroad crashing through a broken shop window.

He's editor-in-chief and it appeared in the magazine. Trying to apply rigidity to libertarian ideology is the reason by libertarianism as a cohesive party and philosophy seems so broken and dumb. Its casting the widest net possible but constant in-fighting and bickering on what is appropriate for someones view of minarchism vs anarcho-capitalism, and idiotic arguments about Friedman vs Rothbard ensure that the good that organized libertarians could do put aside so we can fight an ego battle that started 24 years ago.

I can  understand banning "tl;dr" but recommending a summary is solid advice and cubanb shouldn't have been banned for a fairly polite post. 

Oh well, it was probably a short ban.  I've read a portion of the post and hope the best for the OP.

Perhaps the sensitive nature of the thread made the mods act the way they did.  There is no way that it is now GAF policy that any recommendation that people should be concise in their writing earns a ban.
