I'd initially learn towards Order Up! But the ones in Food Network: Cook or Be Cooked just look more appetizing even if they could use some AA.

That said, the best "egg-cracking-play" is easily in the first Cooking Mama for the Wii.

It's pretty well known that he was a sell out and doing it for money. Thought he hired other people to write a lot of his work too. He was an entertainer and play producer, so he succeeded in his goals. It needed to appeal to masses so normal people would come to his plays, so why would he write ridiculous high-brow shit?

I'd compare it more to a big budget movie that is entertaining. Independent film makers would laugh at it's simplicity, but when it's on TV, they'd get fucking sucked in too. Like Independence Day or Jurassic Park maybe?

Naturally, but it is the text-based interpretation that more often is held up for comparison against other text-based works.

Yeah, and Shakespeare doesn't work when it's compared to other literature. I'd much rather read Dante's Inferno, Gilgamesh, Beowulf, Journey to the West, Romance of the Three Kingdoms, the Water Margin, Dream of the Red Chamber, or the Illiad/Homer.

The fact that literature classes in western schools DON'T have kids read Journey to the West is a travesty. It knocks shit like the Great Gatsby and Shakespeare sideways.

Nothing wrong with Shakespeare. I love Shakespeare. I just find it funny people use Shakespeare as an example of English literature when most of his famous works were plays. To me it's the equivalent of taking the script of The Wire, and reading it like it were a novel, which I think is missing the point, despite being well written.

I find it and very much most of my AP literature courses curriculum to be so antiquated that its obtuse. Its very hard to be entertained by the works of such a bygone era when you have to constantly consider what differing connotations words had back then.
