Anyone with half a brain knows who I am and I rag on the mods all the time
Also, not only is that thread fucking pathetic, it's completely fucking pointless too.

If I ever get perma'ed, I'll let you know. Deal? But it isn't really that hard to find out who I am if you know what circles I generally run in. Then again I'm not sure my posting style on GAF matches here 1:1, which is what I really don't want. I'd rather my style here be different from there.
And yeah, but "we gotta show them that people will buy on PC! Let's not mention that the titles will generally be heavily pirated on that platform! We just gotta get the support!"
Also PC-GAF is reaching. Eight titles, four of which are PC-specific IP's that have had a base that was built or was already there. All four First Person titles. Three of them shooters. Two in the same long-running (well, nearly 10-15 years) series. One an RPG in a long-running series.
Yes, that'll prove Ubisoft wrong and "PC gaming isn't d00mededzed!"

I don't give a fuck about PC vs Console, but I hate how PC-GAF is whiny spoiled children. DRM in our games? DON'T BUY! BUT THEN NO ONE SUPPORTS US BECAUSE WE DON'T BUY! WHINE WHINE WHINE
PC game[r]s are just better dude, deal with it
serious post though consoles are holding games back like almost constantly and pc gamers remember a better time.
Valve will save us
I'm going to be completely serious here: How? Outside of DLC-scamming and "outdated generation tech" of which I agree with I honestly don't get why PC gamers are bitter when the market has shifted from a PC-majority to a PC-minority.
Now don't get me wrong: I love mods, I love having customization,
I love being able to pirate titles that won't ever get a fucking demo to see how they run. But the whole temper tantrum PC-GAF does whenever something doesn't go their way is pathetic. Ubisoft's fucked up their sales on PC by releasing titles like Ass Creed months later, I'll agree with. But they aren't completely in the wrong either: PC
is a heavily pirated platform. I mean you can compare Street Fighter 4 sales on console to PC and it's pretty telling. But that's apples and oranges. I really wonder how much piracy for a FPS/RTS title is in comparison to it's console counter parts, given the FPS/RTS genre is the most popular genres on PC.
