I've never gotten the hate for BS (nor the celebratory status, for that matter). At worst his posts are often harmless or meaningless, but that can be said for a great part of the posts at GAF or even in this thread. Has BS become the personification banal posting and in the process found himself the center of scorn motivated by a distaste for the endless string of inane posts generated by this community? When we lash out at BS, are we lashing out at ourselves for wasting a fair portion of our lives here?

At his best his posts are useful in discovering new music.
