Seems like selling GAF accounts would have been more viable in 07-08 before Evillore let open the floodgates.

I was banned for being an alt despite doing nothing remotely bannable that day. Pretty sure if I ever get an alt and do anything to give myself away, I'd be banned instantly.

I think they go by IP addresses, not behavior.  Nobody could pick out specific behaviors of every banned member

What's the point of banning people if they can just come back under a different name? Doesn't really drive home the importance of learning how to behave and follow the rules.

That's weird - I just went to get my banned message which I recall said something like "requested permanent - will never be reinstated. Lifted : Never" - however it now logs me in to a view with no forum visible and access to my CP. odd.
