Sounds like Libya is going to hell. Protesters burned down Gaddafi's house and are marching toward the capitol

I was in seventh grade when the Berlin Wall came down. I obviously realized its importance, but not as much as one of my teachers at the time, who literally wept with joy as it was dismantled.

Apparently (and I think I'm stealing this from one of the links I posted) there aren't any likely places to give Qaddafi a safe haven, so he could very well be trying to suppress the revolution as if his life depended on it in a very literal sense.

Also RE: the Berlin Wall comments, I usually hate comparisons like that because they seem so self-absorbed, but some real shit's going down...interesting times.

I'm a bit worried for the Libiyans as whatever bad Mubarak caused, he was rational evil and left when the jig was up. Gadhafi is batshit crazy chaotic evil, I'm really not sure this ends well.
