We leave our cat home alone whenever we go on vacation. She's got an auto-feeder, and someone stops by once or twice to fill up her water and check the litter box.

Sweet, I'm gonna get one now too then. Gonna name it something manly, like Atticus.

:lol

We have a white cat named Lady. She even has a pink collar.

It's the name she came with. We tried giving her a new name, but Lady just fits her too well.

Himu, you're really overthinking this endeavor. Head down to the shelter and check out the cats, find one you like and bring it home. Buy it a bed, get a litterbox and some food and water. BAM. Instant cat awesomeness.

I know. It's just that my place is small and I've never had a cat or really had any pet indoors. So it's pretty new with me.

For example, litter boxes, since my place is smaller than I'd like it to be I'm researching where I could place a litter box. And apparently there are boxes that look like plain ol' furniture to guests.

Things like that.

Plus I have to make the place cat proof.
