Online dating still sounds terrifying to me. Even the good experiences posted here sound like the exceptions. How do they ensure you won't meet a gunga galunga, or worse, Meg Ryan? Can I find someone who likes Way of the Samurai and Gattaca?

Also, seems like mostly older people doing it (late 20s, 30s), which is doubly scary because it makes college out to be the last bastion of meeting people in the meat.
