heh, it's funny being on the losing team but loving the system.  it's also funny they are ditching BC on consoles but that BC is the only thing making this thing worthwhile at the moment.   I can't even trick myself into liking most of the full retail original games on the system.  Uncharted, Gravity Rush...shit's straight up ass.  Maybe soul sacrifice is good, but i've got plenty of stuff I'd rather play.

It's getting lots of good little PSN games though.  I'll be on Hotline Miami and that space shooter that was a mini but is now a full game.  the trailer made it look pretty ingenious.

I haven't gotten into Soul Sac at all since the demo - i just haven't had the urge to play it.  Uncharted i thought was way better than people make out, yet Gravity Rush just didn't click with me though i still need to go back to it. Miku F is stupidly good - i have no idea why i didn't play it sooner, PBS2013 is incredible as a handheld game.... aaaaand i'm stopping there before it becomes a list post.

I would agree with the notion though that most the good stuff on the Vita can be played on a console - and that's an issue. It's not had -and may never get- that machine making game. I'd say a truly customised-for-portable GT game is about the best shot Sony has and , to be honest, unless it's part of a big surprise package at E3 then not announcing it with GT6 seems to put that one in the ground.

Miku F would be something i'd try if it were like $10 on U.S. PSN.

If they're serious about keeping this thing alive, and they should be if they want to promote PS4 connectivity in a serious way and not as a knee-jerk response to Nintendo (who is not deserving of a response atm), they'll get a GT game on there eventually.

Stuff being playable on console hasn't been much of an issue for me-- i'll still play the Vita versions, except for something like MVC3.   but i realize in the greater context it's a problem.

Yes. And if you get online at certain prime-times the online will be pretty active. Granted, in "tournaments" only and not in stroke/real-mode rooms, but still... Totally worth the $10, even the DLC is pretty worthwhile.

It's basically a full-fledged console-sized golfing game, but handheld. If you liked any of the other HSG or Mario Golf games, you'll love it. Tons of shit to level-up and unlock.

Is Hatsune Miku really a "her", shouldn't it be "it"?

it's a computer program and not a voice actress, right?

Oh, it's a proper fiction character? I thought  Hatsune Miku was the name of the vocal synthesizer program and japan was just being japan promoting the promotional loli or whatever.

If you like arcade golf like Pangya, then yeah even offline it's good. Challenge mode is pretty hard for a bit until you "click" with the golfing itself and then it becomes pretty damn fun. Going for the crowns can be challenging as well (but you have to look those up online as you have to beat the alternate vs matches to get those to show-up in game, which is AFTER you already have beaten the game) if you go for those while going through the game.

It can be a little... "grindy" in terms of getting unlock points and getting loyalty but it isn't that bad (8 18-hole rounds will Max level 4 all characters basically).

I like it, and the DLC courses can be pretty challenging. I spent $20 max from PSN sales of it and the DLC bundle for PS+ and don't regret it.

Have you ever gotten that sense of euphoria when you look at something and you just can't help but squeal on the inside? Like eating a favorite food or someone telling you that you look nice, or whatever. That positive, indescribable positive sensation that leaves you feeling all warm inside? That's what I get from looking at her. Its hard to explain what I see that gets me all riled up. If I could only let you borrow my eyes for but a spell....

Feels so damn good. I get a better high off cute anime girls than I could ever get off stuff like marijuane.

Neither did I, but it's related to Miku in that someone made the song using the Vocaloid software.  It's not "official," although I have no idea how any of those Hatsune Miku songs you see in games or concerts (:teehee) are user-created.

What made you think that? The Valhalla Knights series is known to be pretty subpar.

I also find it laughable to see Marvelous AQL sugarcoating the shittiness by adding a stupid amount of gratuitous titty fan-service in an attempt to attract more sales. Totally backwards, defeatist progression. Just spruce up the graphics a tad and throw in some tits because that's the best they can do. Fucking muppets.

Dont really care for online. It is a good single player poop on the toilet game?

the game isn't as good as the PSP games as the structure is a little changed and there's way less customisation - it also has some major issues with course design in the very late stages of the game (might have been patched?) where some holes basically become almost impossible if the wind isn't favourable.

It's good, but it could have/should have been better.

I like how the trailer shows like two minutes of tits and titty touching, but 15 seconds of actual game play.   :lol

To be fair though: HSG6 is just HSG:Open Tee 3 in mechanics. HSG5:OOB is the last "console"/non-Open Tee mechanic based HSG.

And HSG5 has Sackboy, so it edges out in terms of favorable for me. They need to port Sackboy, Toro, and Kratos to HSG6 for me to completely drop HSG5.  :'(

There are plenty of interesting B and C tier RPGs. If they just implement an interesting battle system, loot or stats then I can have fun even though the other parts are sub-par. Even very basic RPGs, like Candy Box and Parameters, can be surprisingly great time wasters.

^It's still 'Rayman' in the sense of gameplay and objectives but I couldnt help but feel because of the flash-like animation/graphics and the speedy pacing and design that it just feels like a sort of empty platformer. Certainly didn't sense that dense packed experience like Rayman 1 has.
