Just watched the Mario 64 episodes. The best 3D Mario :bow

It actually made me want to give Galaxy another shot. Gonna do that right after I get the adapter that lets me connect the Wii remote to the PC.

yeah sometimes SA does that but if you have a facebook account you can check their facebook page instead for when that happens, search for SAGCCX

there hasn't been any new episode in a while anyway... they released one of the virtual console specials but it's only 10 minute long

i'll try to keep the thread updated the best i can anyway!

Why would they do another quiz show? Those probably take the longest to sub because of all the text and unlike the first one that had questions about love hotels and hentai, this one wasn't even funny. Other than when Arino tried to hook the prize shelf with the crane machine, and then they put up a sign saying if you hook the prize shelf you don't get a prize. :lol

Golgo 13 sounds pretty rad, though.

each segment (except the arcade one which is in every season) is season exclusive and since season 9 is done, yeah the manga cafe segment are gone for good

in case anybody want to knows about the segments, here's the complete list of each segment show trough the program
http://www.crunkgames.com/?p=87&page=2#corner

for the curious currently the season that got all the episode translated are

sort of season 1 (they removed every interview but translated all the arino challenge segment)
sort of season 2 (like season 1 but they left the interview intact for the more important people like hideo kojima)
season 4
season 9

season 5 and 6 are only missing a few episode's so it wouldn't shock me if one of the next episode came from those

season 5 is missing ghoul's n ghost and princess tomato in salad kingdom
season 6 is missing only bio miracle bokutte upa

another episode is out, this time is the quest of ki,this one has a quite big history with game center cx like bombjack... it's kinda like a platformer starring the damsel of distress of tower of druaga (another pretty infamous namco game, google for a guide of the game if you don't know why) but the game is pretty hard to control,if you jump too high, you hit the ceiling with your head and ends up falling down like an anvil (usualy on a bunch of spikes) so it gives lot and lot of pains to arino

The Bonk episode has a recap of the Legend of Ki special, which is probably why they released all three episodes at the same time (more or less).

apparently the japanese version is easier

Quote
There are too many differences in the Famicom version of Battletoads to list here, sirkakkarot, but I will try!

Here we go:

-Player(s) starts off with more lives (five I believe) and also has more continues, but not an unlimited amount.

-Most bosses appear to take fewer hits to beat.

-Level 3 has easier jumps and the overall speed also seems to have been altered for the better.

-Some spikes have been completely removed in Level 6, making some particular snake jumps a lot easier.

-The narrow fire gaps that the toad must pass through in Level 7 have been widened. The Sega Genesis version has the same thing.

-Some spikes have been removed in Level 9.

-The rats are a lot slower in Level 10.

-The orb is slower in Level 11.

-Level 11 can be cleared with two players.

-Some platforms don't disappear as quickly in the final level and the toad starts off a lot closer to the death point, if he happens to die.

Watched the Bonk episode yesterday, that was a great one.

aaaaaaaaaaaand after almost a whole month,a new episode is out,but it's not translated by the goons team,it's translated by the guys who did the first 2 seasons
this time the game in question is kato-chan and ken-chan,a pc engine platformer based on 2 japanese commedian, there was a western release but they removed all the reference to the comedians and added generic characters instead

tv-nihon went for a chronological order back when they were translating so if they keep releasing episode following that, you can expect these next

    #11 J.J. & Jeff
    #12 Takeshi’s Castle
    #13 Tokimeki Memorial
    #14 Famicom Jump
    #15 Doki-Doki Panic
    #16 Hi no Tori
#17 Super Mario World (Pt. I)
#18 Super Mario World (Pt. II)
    #19 Milon’s Secret Castle
#20 The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past

so the next one would be takeshi's castle and then famicom jump (assuming they jump tokimeki memorial as it already got subbed)

the bomberman episode was kinda boring but that's because bomberman is an incredibly repetitive game because arino tries to pull it off,he makes some horrible plays, bother his assistant and cracks a joke or 2,still in the last 20 minutes they play multiplayer bomberman and that's really the highlight of the episode

but the good news is that another new episode out, this time it's takeshi's castle, takeshi's castle is a pretty infamous japanese shows where contestant jumped around like idiots dodging obstacles and ending up diving in mud more often than not (the concept was later taken on by american to make "wipeout")

the game is played with a power pad,so arino get tired a lot, which make the episode even funnier
