Driving home tomorrow (10 hour trip $:-\$ ), gonna meet up with a girl from my high school tomorrow night. Saturday, jamming with my old band members, probably day-drinking. Sunday is our actual party, making homemade tomatillo salsa. Food and beers aplenty. Monday just chilling, then driving back to Nashville on Tuesday.

Friday - hanging around Port Jeff with my girlfriend and her sister
Saturday - beach party out east
Sunday - friend's g/f pool party at her house
Monday - uncle's house for BBQ

Maybe getting some biking and DJing in, too...

Coney Island. Never been before, probably won't go again, but it seems like the only appropriate place in NYC to celebrate Independence Day. Like most of you, lots of grilled goods, lots of beer, lots of spilling and sloppiness.

How's everybody's weekend going?

So far, I've cleaned my kitchen 4 times, my house was spotless yesterday and is now a nuclear wasteland, and I'm sunburnt.

We were basically in the pool for like 10 hours today. Me, drunken boys, a few girls and the Bobber (floating cooler). Felt a girl's pierced nips.

To me the 4th is just another day. When you've grown up a poor with people who work on a holiday (including yourself), I find that there really isn't the sentimentality and good feelings attached to it. It's just another day or an opportunity to make a little extra money with bonus holiday pay.

One dude even gave me this sob-story about how he never gets to take off on secondary holidays like the 4th, could I find it in my heart to switch with him, etc. etc....uh...tough shit? Seems like my parents are pissed I didn't go to my brother's bday party yesterday. His bday was like two weeks ago anyway, why celebrate so late or at all; plus who wants to hang with a bunch of kids.

4th of July weekend: doing NOTHING. That's how all holidays should be. I have enough stuff I have to do on a regular week or weekend, there's no way I'm spending time doing shit on a holiday weekend too.

Went to the family BBQ of the girl who friendzoned me earlier this year who unfortunately is not a bitch and who I now consider to be a good friend. It was cool, food was great. I had jerk pork for the first time in my life and I think it might be better than jerk chicken.
