Unfortuneatly in america, a lot of smoking hot girls are religous. I imagine its because life has been kind to them and they assume its just as good for the rest of us. In general, attractive well off people are kinda clueless. Their ability to get what they want from people easily supports their confidence in life. There's no reason to question what they've been told about god and country. Skepticism and critical thinking are the domain of the weirdos. In a way overanalysing is necessary to survive and cope with a society that only supports you as much as they want to fuck you. Definitely some projection mixed in here, sorry.

I got into a discussion of how we were gonna raise our hypothetical children with the hot blonde at work. I'm just not comfortable brainwashing them at a young age.

interesting piece of data - and I think from this we can also conclude that religion will fade away once technology allows everyone to look however they want (or how social norms and brand campaigns pressure them into wanting - in the future fans of a given style of music/operating system/whatever will not only adopt certain prescribed clothes and hair, but facial features as well) through cheap perfect-fidelity facial remodeling, in about twenty years or so.
