Finished the regular season at 9-4. The guy in first place in my dvision is currently losing with two guys in tonight's game. Really hoping he loses!

Looks like I'm done with fantasy football and the Lions this season.

Blout fucked me over on my second RB slot. I could have started Kevin Smith and gotten 13 points, but I would have never taken that risk (Saints D, at home, Smith's shaky health, potential blowout, etc). Carolina has a horrible rush defense so starting Blout made sense. 1.90 points smh

Lions, meh. I wouldn't be surprised if we don't win another game this season; the Vikings aren't a blowover like most people think. The indiscipline is killing us, and there is no end in sight. Injuries are fucking us too (Fairley and Smith were having great games tonight before going out with injuries).

The team had flaws from the first game, but we managed to squeak out wins. Maybe next year will be different. Stafford looked good (overall) and was healthy. The defense was good. We just need a few more pieces, and actual discipline.

For some reason, I was watching Skip Bayless debate whether the Colts should draft Andrew Luck when they still have Peyton Manning. He kept assuming Manning, who turns 36 in a few months, would play for three more seasons.

I decided to check whether this was likely by selecting 20 great (OK . . . some were merely good and some were Brett Favre) retired QBs to check at what age they had their last significant seasons (defined as 200+ pass-attempts).

Tough win by the Lions today. Our injuries are really piling up, and multiple guys went down today damn. On one hand I'm rather depressed we let Minny come back and make it a close game, but considering we basically had no secondary due to injuries...eh, I can't get mad.

Niners managed to throw away a game they mostly dominated by not finishing drives and one big fiasco in the first half.

A real waste. THey should have swept the division. THey aren't adjusting their game to blitzes at all.

How is the media coverage nowadays with regards to the Niners and Raiders? When I was in the Bay Area, Raiders were treated like the Clippers by local media.

Well since the bay area media normally focuses on SF over Oakland in all things, the Niners got a little more attention. There's never been a time since I've been alive that that the Raiders were clearly way better than the Niners. They were either both good or both crap. I'd say its about 60/40 Niners to Raiders attention.
