Don't we get in as long as we win this one PD?

If we beat SD we clinch a playoff spot. But if we lose our fate will be determined by a few other teams losing:
Quote
Scenario 1

Arizona Cardinals lose to or tie the Cincinnati Bengals (1 p.m. ET in Cincinnati)
Seattle Seahawks lose to or tie the San Francisco 49ers (4:15 p.m. ET in Seattle)
Dallas Cowboys lose to or tie the Philadelphia Eagles (4:15 p.m. ET in Arlington, Texas)
Chicago Bears lose to or tie the Green Bay Packers (8:20 p.m. ET Sunday in Green Bay)

Scenario 2

Arizona Cardinals lose to or tie the Cincinnati Bengals (1 p.m. ET in Cincinnati)
Seattle Seahawks lose to or tie the San Francisco 49ers (4:15 p.m. ET in Seattle)
New York Giants lose to or tie the New York Jets (1 p.m. ET in East Rutherford, N.J.)
Chicago Bears lose to or tie the Green Bay Packers (8:20 p.m. ET Sunday in Green Bay)

Scenario 3

Arizona Cardinals lose to or tie the Cincinnati Bengals (1 p.m. ET in Cincinnati)
Seattle Seahawks lose to or tie the San Francisco 49ers (4:15 p.m. ET in Seattle)
Atlanta Falcons defeat or tie the New Orleans Saints (8:30 p.m. ET Monday in New Orleans)

Arizona lost, SF is losing but I gotta believe they'll beat Seattle.

Stafford to Kevin Smith :bow

I really hope Smith sticks with the team, or at least sticks in the NFL. He seems healthy, just rusty with the ankle sprains due to not being in the league until mid-season

Lions offense looks so good. Run game is not great despite some good runs, but the o line is playing great

If you manage to keep the 5 seed, you'll get to play a shitty NFC East team in round one too, so the Lions might even GASP get a playoff win!

But yeah, Colston v. Finley, didn't think it would be THIS close (1 point difference? Holy shit.), should be an interesting final game. May the best man win.

That's me  :teehee
[close]

Whatever the outcome, I had fun in my first fantasy football league. I made some mistakes, mostly picking too many players off my favorite, often disappointing team (fucking Jets) but I look forward to to more fantasy fun in the future.

Oh, and to comment on my previously mentioned favorite team, fuck you Sanchez and Jets offense. That's all.

Yeah, I made some shitty decisions this week too - was going to switch things up and put in Malcolm Floyd instead of Holmes and Calek, who I picked up this week just in case I felt like moving my team around a bit. At the last minute I decided to keep with the team I've been with pretty much the entire season because, hey, it's worked out well enough for me this far. We'll see how Monday goes to see if it mattered or not.

Adrian Peterson tore an ACL, damn. This is like the worst time to tear it too; if he tore it in the beginning or middle of the season he could be ready for next season. Now he'll probably miss the start of the 2012 season, ouch.

Favre's career TD to INT ratio is 1.5:1.*
Rodgers' career TD to INT ratio is 3.5:1 (7.5:1 this season).**

*Pretty decent for a 20th century QB (although he played half of his career in the 21st).
**Both would be records (ahead of Brady's ratios).

BREESUS HATH RISEN!

Congrats to Breesus for breaking bitter Dan Marino's single season passing record.  Eventually, all of Marino's records will be gone and he will have nothing to hang onto, since he never won a Super Bowl.  EAT TRENT DILFER'S SHIT, DAN!

Also, congrats to Tucah for winning the EB fantasy league and preventing a Glen Shinobi championship, which would have been just marginally better than a PD championship.  Next year I will bother to show up to the draft and won't have to deal with an 0-4 start from an auto-drafted team and will destroy you bitches, as God intended.

This weekend we get to see Tebow blow the Broncos playoff chances, Satan willing, and Romo find a new and interesting way to choke the Cowboys out of the playoffs as well.  I AM EXCITE.

Fantasy...meh. So many points on my bench, which makes losing by 12 points feel so bad. It was just a consolation game but still. Oh well, at least I didn't come in last place :rock

I just heard Don Banks on the radio say that he'd give Rodgers the MVP award, but he'd give Brees the Offensive Player of the Year award because he passed Marino in single season yardage (give Rodgers an extra 120 attempts and he'd easily do the same).

Does Rodgers play on special teams or something?   ::) This type of distinction can be made in hockey, basketball, or even baseball, but not in football between two players who play the same position.

Wouldn't want to hurt Brees' feelings

Rogers and Brees are having amazing years. Brees has more yards and a higher completion percentage, but he also has more interceptions and fewer TDs than Rogers. Rogers' QB rating is like 10% higher or something too. Honestly I could see either one winning it, but imo it should be Rogers.

I can't wait to see them play in the playoffs. Green Bay's weather has been pretty mild thus far, maybe it changes in the next couple weeks or so. Both teams don't have much of a defense or run game, so a game in bad weather conditions would be pretty interesting

Stafford surpassed 5,000 passing yards this year, and 41TDs. Very impressive year for him given how little on field experience he has and the one-dimensional nature of our offense. He's a stud. We just need some young blood on the o-line and our RBs to be healthy...

speaking of which, I'm pretty sure Jahvid Best won't be in the NFL in three years due to concussions

And Wrath, The Saints aren't historically a great playoff team, and they play way down to bad teams.  I could see the Lions making a game out of it.

Yup. I think it's a good thing tbh. Tebow is going to get utterly destroyed by the Steelers.

It's also fair to point out Fox's gameplan was over conservative. Tebow can make some plays, he's shown it multiple times this year and KS is no powerhouse. Let Tebow throw enough to keep the defense honest and don't put him in situations where he has to force things.

There's no doubt Fox is partly to blame and I'm sure Skip will harp on that, but it's time to admit Tebow has been figured out. His saving grace is that his work ethic is very impression. I'd be very interesting to see him next season after he gets a full training camp

If he was black he wouldn't be in this position, ie starting in the NFL. He would have been benched after his first shitty performance.

I hate even saying that but it's true. Same with the Tebowing nonsense. How long have football players in general been kneeling, yet it's a trademark now for him?
