Seth is absolutely all or nothing. Not playing predictably safe - normal safe, not Poongko invading-your-brainwaves "safe" - is part of what makes it so effective and is exactly how he gets away with SO MUCH.
Against Fuudo, he did what he was doing the entire rest of the tournament and Fuudo just caught his number at exactly the right moment. IIRC, the round after he got punished by that big U1, he did slow it down a bit and was noticably struggling with the change of pace.
He totally dropped the ball against Latif, though. So much damage lost trying to reversal cross-up burn kicks - same thing that dropped Daigo.
