If you do want this Humble Bundle (and/or future ones) but might want the bonus later, wait. They changed the rules so that whenever you pay for the below the average that locks in the BTA price so you have to raise it to that later. So like if you pay $1 when BTA is $8, later if it's $3 to BTA to unlock the rest, you have to raise yours to $8 instead.

Well, we're at a point where it seems like multiple bundles are released each week, so it adds up over the course of a year.

I also try to reduce the amount of games I buy that I don't plan to play, even if they are dirt cheap.

I usually beat the average, but when I own everything above it already paying a high price when the bonus will probably be another rehash is just :-\

Noticed that you can now also set what goes to each developer individually.

Two bundles in one day where I don't own ANY of the games in them! Is it my birthday??

www.indieroyale.com
  • Pixeljunk Shooter
  • Gunmonkeys
  • Megabyte Punch
  • Ride 'em Low
  • Stronghold HD

www.indiegala.com
  • Two Brothers
  • Ballpoint Universe Infinite
  • Tales of Maj'Eyal
  • Ravensword: Shadowlands
  • Gravity Badgers

Plus some non-Steam crap and the typical "games to be announced later" in both bundles.  Nothing mind blowing, but I mean it's $10 for 10 games, if even 1 of them is worth my time, then I've come out ahead.

It's a good one, but a little too late.  I'd wager most people interested in those particular games would have them by now.  I already have all of them ;_;

If you didn't have any of them it'd be a steal, though.

I've got so much shit to play already that I hardly ever buy games individually these days. Bundles are pretty much my main source of new games since they look like too much of a bargain to pass up. Giana Sisters is the only thing I already have from this one.

That probably much makes me scum in terms of supporting the industry.

They'd get nothing from you otherwise, now they're getting something. There's a lot of people like this, which is why they gain even as they get less per individual.

Plus it's effectively an inverse marketing budget. Especially if the game has already been out for a while.

A lot of Bundle Stars' bundles, for example, are basically games that are well past their ever selling even in Steam Sales date or would never even be noticed as existing, so they package them all up and get fifty cents or a buck per sale instead of the nothing they have been getting from those titles. Might get you just enough cash flow to get out your next title, which could possibly be more well known or even anticipated.

I just started playing it on the Xbox and as far as games go it's top tier, the combat is pretty smooth and sweet with special moves, projectiles, juggles etc. Reminds me of Guardian Heroes or something if a lot simpler. So far gameplay structure is closest to Order of Ecclesia with a world map separating the levels, and each stage being a self contained map that you can backtrack to and unlock extra areas and stuff. You've got material drops and NPCs asking you to collect crap for them, so yeah, OoE all over if you've played that.

The furry shit is very overt and full-on however. Still, in the credits the creator thanks his wife and children and an "everloving god", so you can rest assured that the characters are wholesome and the game was devised with only the purest intentions.

Yeah the game is solid for sure. I'm playing on "Tough" difficulty and the game is a good challenge, a lot of enemies can 1-2 shot you.

The furry shit almost endearing because the VA is so good, the game is fully voiced. I watched Disney's Aladdin recently and the VA work is more or less on par- it's pretty well done.
