In the past week i've had two people from work say I should get a second cat. Does no one understand THE TWO CAT RULE?!

I had three at one point, but only because it was a stray that became friends with my younger cat.

The problem with that is they will feel PRESSURED into becoming friends with each other, and nobody likes that, even with someone you might otherwise befriend
