Okay, there's definitely something wrong. For me [on PC and on android portables] the subs are about two lines above the bottom of the screen, slightly higher than other streaming services but nowhere close to being in the middle of the screen.

Yeah the show isnt the best, but the video barely touches the show's quality it only mocks the criticism

Appealing to people's better nature seems futile when they're richly rewarded with attention and Patreon money. This guy has 1.4m subs and uploads a couple times a month. He was probably very relieved to have more fodder to re-distribute.

Never saw Elfen Lied, but no, can't agree here- High School Of The Dead definitely fits the "so bad it's good" description and was wonderfully stupid and cheesy.  Goblin Slayer was just "serious" shit trying to be serious and just plain awful.  I'm not talking about the show, BTW- I read the comic.  That's one thing that the video doesn't seem to mention while mocking the criticism- you can go read the manga to get an idea of the plot progression and "world building."  It's shit.  Same old crap that's been done a billion times before.  I checked out some of the later chapters, too, and it seems like a lot of the shock stuff from that first chapter was toned down.  Instead you get the bumbling adventures of Goblin Slayer who never seems to remove his armor or say his name and loli-esque sidekick who gets naked and takes baths for whole chapters.

Episode 3 lowlights:

1. A big titty witch burns a daily to vape
2. There's a 2000 year old elf with a little girl demeanor / body (no Nippon Ichi Software), a dwarf, and a Warhammer lizardman (sorry, Seraphon) in the party now
3. Some demon invasion is going down and bringing all the free races together but the gang is hunting goblins because the elves can't send an army to clear out a massive nest in their own lands because the kingdom(s) of men do geopolitics as bad as the U.S. government does
4. They have cheese and wine around the campfire like a couple of bougie dorks, tech startup much?
5. Etna the elf gets smashed off the wine like it's pledge week and asks Slayer why he's drinking with his helmet on
6. Etna the elf does some gun kata with a bow

I "had to watch" Sailor Moon with my sibling when I was on the cusp of puberty. It was just horrible.
