Not quite two hours, but around an hour and a half. There were a lot of people in front of me and at one point I turned around and saw a huge ass line, with people waiting in the cold. It seems like they had different time slots (I had 10, others had 10:30, etc), but they overbooked to make sure the theater was packed.
The prologue was about the same length as the Joker intro to The Dark Knight, plus you got a trailer showing off a lot. And a t-shirt!
I'm probably never doing this again. First and last time.
edit: I made this thread after ~30 minutes of waiting and was about to leave. The rest of it wasn't too bad because I was talking with the guy, and we went into the theater 9 something.
There's a difference between "real" IMAX and other IMAXs?
I saw The Dark Knight at a regular IMAX (I guess) and it was more of a giant movie theater (larger screen. Real IMAX I guess is a giant dome and it wraps around you. The screen fills your entire field of vision, but it's not like you're sitting close, if that makes sense.
