It isn't on Steam, and probably never will be unless EA gets a stick out of their ass.

Such a suprise people that liked the franchise due to it being "horror" don't like it anymore.

Reminds me of that other game EA fucked up. DA. Except that bioware said it was them and not EA calling the shots on that disaster.

It isn't on Steam, and probably never will be unless EA gets a stick out of their ass.

But you will be able to get it for $10 on Origin, because even though EA thinks big discounts on games devalue the properties, they'd rather have your $10 than have nothing!

spoiler (click to show/hide)
Honestly, Origin isn't bad at all, good download speeds, quick updates, and if you contact them they'll sometimes add older games you've bought elsewhere (they added the Mass Effect 1 I bought from D2D to my Origin library for me). If I have to have some other DL service besides Steam, I can live with Origin.

Origin isn't bad, I just like to have most of my games in a central location.

And it's not like Origin would be removed in Steam versions of EA games.  EA can have the Origin client start when you boot the game via Steam, but they are just being bull headed about DLC revenue splits.

I advise everyone to let it all out, shoot their load, and savor it. Because I highly doubt things will continue this way for long. Even with SS, PSO2, and Tales coming up, as each of them will contribute a bump, but won't have the legs to sustain those sales, let alone raise them.

I really hope I'm wrong, but deep down everyone knows it's the reality.

(Although on the one hand it's a new IP so that sell-through is decent, on the other a *lot* is riding on this title)

As i said this thread is for this week Vita sales with the price-cut.If it is a sales thread like Mediacreate it should have more data like LTD or the same number this time last year. This is what a sales thread is about. This thread is a report for this week numbers. We will not using this thread for Vita sales like 7 weeks after.

When i said ''this is not a sales thread''i was talking metaphorically.I hope you know that means. If you didnt understand in the first place its not my problem.

Oscar, how many mills did Max Payne 3 sell? 4?

Sequel likely?

NPD tracks at a combined total of under 900k to date for 360/PS3.  I'd say a Max sequel is less likely than several possible Rockstar IPs after the somewhat tepid response to 3 from all corners.

Ouch.

And people thought it would be gold because of Rockstar handling it.

Rockstar always drops a major dime on their properties.  Hell, fated to underperform L.A. Noire had a similarly huge ad push and likewise six year-ish development cycle.  Of course Rockstar seldom puts out more then one game a year anymore, so I guess they are kinda stuck putting so many eggs in one basket

Isn't that number from last summer?

900k US, prob around the same in EU I guess. Add some PC games. 3 million doesn't seem to much then.
