Fairy Fencer F, which came out last week on Steam, has already sold about 30k copies. Sales in Japan were probably about 75k maximum [it sold 6k in the last week where a specific number was mentioned, putting its total at 46k, then it quickly dropped down the chart]. Now, the Japanese version was being sold at a much higher price, but I can't imagine that Idea Factory is looking at the Steam numbers and somehow viewing them as disappointing.

Konami, apparently, has zero interest in its own legacy. I really don't understand how a company with a history as long and as storied as Konami gets to that point, but from what people who've worked there have been saying recently the company leadership is really screwed up.

yeah I just seen that article about how awful the company culture is right now. that's a real damn shame. there's so much they could be doing with all those classic ips, but if management wants to ignore em and treat everyone there like shit too, there's not much hope. Well, MGS1-3 isn't a huge loss since you can already emulate those. Granted, 3 probably won't do 60FPS but still...

Bigger loss (depending on who you ask) is not having 4 and Peace Walker HD. Peace Walker can be done with PPSSPP and maybe the 360 emulator but 4 is a toss up depending on how fast they get that PS3 emulator going.

MGS3 at 60 FPS

Going back to 30 FPS

MGS3 HD is without a doubt one of the best ports and remasterings ever. When I think of what a remaster should be, MGS3 HD is it.

Peacewalker is a good game but its barely a stealth game, plays more like a stealth game with action mechanics. MGS4 is fucking terrible but it should've been ported to PC and 360. Don't give a fuck if the game is a million gigabytes, it should've been on 360 at some point.
