I might wait to get another batch of games, but which is better, Grandia 1 or Final Fantasy IX?
Grandia for sure. That moment when you scale the wall and finally make it over, only to discover the other half of the world. Pure magic. FFIX has its charms too and one of the best sidequest in a FF (world map treasure hunting), but it also just got a PC release which seems to be decent.

Grandia is the best JRPG of all time, so there's that.

Got killed at my third combat or so, boy they're not lying when they say it's harder than the main game  :lol

It's not, really. It's only rough at the beginning point because you don't have the Persona cards to switch between. Once you get Ai-chan a bunch of cards to fuse with, it becomes as hard as Episode: Yourself. AKA: Not very.

Oh I'm sure, I played a bit beyond that. It certainly forced me to be a bit more thoughtful and cautious, however, and that was nice. My last P3 experience was quite some years ago but overall it was not a very challenging game.

How was it?

I only had time to play it once, I couldn't finish the last segment of the first fight cause I am bad. But for the most part I knew what I was doing wrong so it felt fair.

The visuals and music are pretty dope though.

It was boring and monotonous beautiful UBI-press-button-to-win fun years ago.  I'm guessing it will hold up even worse today.

you know, I finally tried Furi last night and as a fan of character action games I didn't like it.  Once I saw it had Kingdom Hearts style multiple lifebars I was iffy, and then I saw that each life bar is basically one set of attack patterns, so bosses are actually like 5-6 bosses in a row and I might be wrong on this but if they take one lifebar away from you they get one back on their side.  Basically seemed like a game where the boss fights are long and by 3-4 lifebars in I get bored.  Also I felt like sometimes the parrying didn't work like if i hit them and they immediately parried and I immediately parry I'd still get hit.  The dodge dash is also a bit finicky.

It's ok, but I prefer my action games to be glass cannon hard and fast.  Git Gud, dodge everything, and win the fight in a minute or three at full intensity.  So 15 min drawn out boss fights of repeating patterns just isn't my thing.

Neverheard of any of those outside Invisible & vvvvv which are both great.  I'm not sure why I sub for PS+ since I buy so many games, the chances of getting ones I don't have already through PS+ is pretty low :X

Then again I got Dangan Ronpa VR from my JPN PS+

I think I got Journey free, and like it a lot.
The original Plants VS Zombies Garden Warfare was free a year ago, still enjoying that, but GW2 has supplanted it.
Not sure if Skulls of the Shogun was free or not. I own it on most systems, so I have no idea on which platform I'll eventually finish.

I'm going to delete Everyone's Gone to the Rapture, Furi, and several others. I like that Sony put out games they've invested in, but SHEESH.
