It’s simplified for console babbies.

It’s just tied to the skin tone slider.

Both games are good, but value wise this is incredibly meh. I think I can get steam keys for both games for less than the sub costs per month.

Sony really seems intent on losing subscribers prior to launching PS5. Not a good strategy. You want people locked into your ecosystem when starting a new generation.
I first started subscribing in 2013 after the launch of PS4, back when they still offered that "instant game collection" for PS Vita (Uncharted Golden Abyss, Gravity Rush, Wipeout 2048). Since PS Vita, they always offered at least 6 games a month (and even more when PSP was still included). Currently, the service is the least value for money it has ever been. If my subscription were to end this year (I purchased a couple of years in advance before the price hike), I'd most likely let it lapse and only resubscribe after the release of PS5.

Don‘t get too excited. The game is not good. It feels low budget not only because of licenses and they still haven‘t fixed major gameplay issues (goalkeepers :maf) that have been issues for years.

Fifa is also not great. But ti‘s printing money because people apparently love matches that end 6-5.  >:(

And of course they do this right after the "Days of Play" (e3) sale of Detroit two weeks ago where they sold it for $7.99 and I made the mistake of buying it. I want my money back.
While it hasn't happened to me before, this isn't the first time they have done this (have a sale and immediately afterwards offer one of the most discounted gamed on PS Plus.)

Wipeout is awesome, but who doesn't own this by now? I already have both a physical (European release) and a digital copy (bought during a sale a few months ago when it cost peanuts).

Can't they at least start adding PSVR games to PS Plus? :/

Arkham knight is both good and disappointing.

It’s got some really cool stuff, great graphics, fairly fun to be Batman... but they really drop the call on like fighting bosses...

Cool, I'll probably just download it anyway.  At the rate I play through current gen games (took me 6+ months to get through FarCry 5 earlier this year) I'll get around to it sometime in 2022.

It is a good game, but all of the supervillain interactions are trash.

Also the car gets kind of repetitive by the end.

There's very little real level design left compared to City/Asylum. They tease you with all those villains throughout different missions, but it's almost all generic ass open world fetch quests and shit.

Agreed. the rain effects are still great looking..

I booted it up on the Xbox and imo it’s still one of the prettiest games on the 1X even though I think it’s still only 900P.

I started replaying it recently and haven’t minded it as much this time. I think that might be mostly because I knew what to expect though. I don’t think it’s bad as much as it is super repetitive. But at the same time, that car has more options and features than any care in an open world game ever.

The biggest problem is the way they shoehorn it into every mission

Arkham origins remains the best Arkham game, imo.

Mostly just because it is the only one with well designed encounters with super villains through out. Arkham city is probably second for similar reasons.

Having a super hero game where all the super villain fights happen in cutscenes is just a massive cocktease, and such an obviously bad idea it’s not clear to me why anyone would approve it.

Arkham Origins has the best bosses, art direction and least awful story. But on replay I sadly found that the levels are mostly braindead.  Like you go down a hallway, see the trigger for electro, you choose electro and press x. Then you see the sign for glue, click glue on your menu and press x. There's no actual puzzles, exploration or challenges sorrounding any of it, it's just menu work based on triggers in front of you (except optional riddler trophies). Also the open world felt like an obligation the developers had to do after City, but they didn't really do anything interesting with it. Still, a very good game thanks to the other factors (and there's still the stealth) - definitely better than Knight.
