Yeah it looks like it will be SW Battlefront 2, sorry.  But if you haven't played BF2, it's fun.

Played some Fall Guys over the weekend... The game is so damn frustrating, but it's hard to not go back to it for a quick round.  Not sure why they don't offer any local co-op/split screen.  Total missed opportunity there.

True. Rocket League didn't have split screen at launch either... At least not on PS4.  My daughter and I play it split screen all the time now.  :)

I should try Fall Guys. I watched some videos of people fucking over other people and the obstacle course gameplay looked pretty fun. I generally avoid MP stuff since it's not up my alley but this looks pretty easy to just jump in and have fun.

I swear, I'm the only one that seems to stagger and fall and it takes me longer than anyone else to get back up.  :lol  Doesn't help that the jump button has a slight delay to it too.  :doge  But yeah, I start just grabbing people and fucking up their rhythm.. Gotta fight fire with fire...  No game has made me want to go to war as much as Fall Guys... Yet I keep throwing myself into the trenches.

I meant to unsub but I had the wrong date down last month and it resubbed automatically for another year :(

I mean maybe there will be some PS5 stuff that I'll want online for, but the PS+ pickings are so bad compared to everything else. (Well Nintendo online sucks too, but $20 is pretty cheap).

I guess the “upside” is that at least it’s not as awful as Nintendo’s online.

It's weird, giving away free PSVR games might have moved more PSVR hardware units for them.

November line up:
BugSnax (PS5 only)
Shadow of War
Hollow knight: Voidheart Edition

PS Plus is trying to get that momentum back... Got a long way to go, but at least there's some effort.   I may give HK another try.  Already own SoW.  It's fun but too drawn out and the story is meh.

Yay, CONTROL will be free to play on PS4, so I don't have to try and squeeze it in on my remaining Xbone GamePass time!

I've been curious about Concrete Genie forever. Happy to see it.

I may have missed December's PLUS games, because I didn't notice until now that Sony moved the redeem location away from the PLUS screen to drive traffic to their poorly-written storefront.  :maf

Maquette looks nice, but like 45 seconds into the trailer I was like "I bet this is another Annapurna game" and yep. I feel like Annapurna just publishes the same game over and over and over and over again with different gameplay.

Nice music, nice art, simple but fine gameplay, and story is real world people having a real world (usually involving romance/depression) conversation or thoughts to themselves.

To be fair I like them all that I've played so far, and this might be another nice one. But goddamn does Annapurna typecast the shit out of their lineup.

Yeah, it sucks that FF7r doesn't upgrade to the PS5 version, but it's a good way for people who never played FF7r to give it a try and see if they like it and if they do and have a PS5 they can pick up the PS5 version in June (or buy the PS4 version on a sale and upgrade).

I've been having Astrobot withdrawals ever since selling my copy; the one and only physical PS4 game I ever owned. :doge

Not sure if you tried Paper Beast, but there's a demo for it.  It wasn't enough for me to warrant a purchase, but for free, heck yeah I'll play through it!

Mostly pumped for Rez.  It's been on my wishlist forever and never pulled the trigger on it.  Hope the PS5 can play it smooth enough without the dropped framerates the base PS4 demo had.
