I'm trying to get into this, seems kind of shallow coming from skyrim, i'd say a more apt comparison would be to SR3.

"Skyrim with Guns" was clearly a tagline to get you to buy it. It's def not Skyrim. I played it nonstop all day, that's a sign of a game that doesn't suck / burn out. The entire first island alone is worth a playthrough. All the scenes are great. The character actors do a great job, especially Jason when he gets in the heat of the moment.

Game is Crysis. You basically attack big groupings of enemies. Occasionally you lay waste to some endangered species, and pick up some plants, and run some shitty errands, but for the most part you're playing Crysis with an Assassin's Creed style flow of objectives. The atmosphere is great though, the lighting is gorgeous and controlling Jason feels like a real bonafide person despite some cheesy but very well voiced dialogue. I really think this is a stellar game. Its a little repetive and is more tactically limited than it seems, but it just plays so nice.

Still havent even investigated badtown yet. I've been crafting and murking around. Playing this game slow as hell.

The Crysis comparison is apt but I find it to be a lot more fun version of crysis because the AI is more predictable and consistent and the sandbox makes a lot more sense and has more tools to play around with.

Forgot skyrim. Anybody who compared it to skyrim is nuts. That shouldn't be your basis of comparison going into the game.

I had a string of outposts get assaulted by a random bear or tiger and eat everyone for me, lol. Game is awesome.
