I spent all day today looking at "international studies" as a undergraduate in England. I qualify for some, but the whole financial thing is confusing. I don't think i'd be able to get a regular loan to afford the $26,000 a year that would be needed  :'(

what schools? 26,000 sounds expensive for UK unless you're talking about places like oxford or a really specialized school.

also, please note that england != uk. UK is a group of countries: England, Wales, Scotland, and North Ireland. You will find a limited search if you are looking for "England universities" as opposed to "United Kingdom universities"

Talking specifically about the college "kids" like PD and FoC. "If I go this safe route, I'll make bank! It's guaranteed to happen!"

Tall words from someone who wants to study abroad in London because "It's cheaper"

:wtf

I was expecting this article to compare American University Costs to Non American University Costs. It doesn't.

And what it does research the most is students going on study abroad trips rather than actually going full time to a foreign school.

The common view used to be that US universities were very costly but since the rise in UK tuition fees, they don't look so expensive any more.

I know the difference between the UK and England Himuro.

Also it's about 10k pounds just for the school year, but the British Border Patrol demands you have atleast 8k for living expenses.  This would put it at like 28k USD for one year.

Oh and this was just for the University of Chester, a small university in one of the smallest cities.

Really, it depends. There are factors you are missing here. UK has the highest amount of students study abroad in their country. You also don't take into question that in the UK, they study for less. The degree I'd like in a university I've been looking at for a few months is a one year program. This is a graduate program. In comparison, it takes three years to complete the program in America.

I'm not denying the possibility of achieving a cheaper degree elsewhere. Tons of variables as you said. Just that it's not automatic. Or more likely.

Methodis, heres some info about fafsa and foreign aid

That makes sense because of the attitude of language being a barrier. Who knows how long is will be the case though

Quote
The number of students to Africa, Asia and the Middle East increased by more than eight percent each. This growth is fueled in part by new and sometimes more affordable program opportunities in these destinations, strategic partnerships between higher education institutions in the United States and abroad. An expansion of programs in diverse fields and short durations, often led by home-campus faculty, accommodates an increasingly diverse study abroad population.

Despite my interest in studying abroad, I still have more interest in studying in America.

This is my number one pick:

http://online.academyart.edu/schools/illustration/

MFA in Illustration.

Hmmm.

How 'bout a Master of Art instead of Master of Fine Art? I don't really plan on teaching but it'd probably be best to have that back up. Thoughts?

???

You got plenty of answers already.  In fact, Mrs. Gundam got a $70k job out of school with a degree that you're working towards now.  You might as well finish it now vs. starting over from scratch.
