What a terribly amazing game from germany yesterday? Didn't anyone catch this? Germany lead 4 - 0 against sweden until the 60th minute when the game completly changed and it ended finally 4-4. Germany played one of the finest offensive football I've ever seen from them. Granted, Sweden was weak on defensive, but the offense was both creative and technically brilliant. One the other hand, I can barely remember a team falling apart so quick and completly on the defensive than germany yesterday. Sweden was extremly efficient (4 goals from 5 chances), and a bit lucky because before the first and last goals there were scenes that could be seen as fouls but still, it was unreal how bad the defenisve from us was, both individually and as a team. I actually ended up having nightmares about the game

After the Euro, the game against Austria and now this game it is clear that germany is far from the top teams when it comes to defense and mental stability, even though the offensive can be beautiful when it's rolling. One key problem seems to be that they are not able to adapt to unexpected situations, which is to no small part the fault of Löw. All in all germany is basically the complete opposite of the past, where we played shitty offense (hell, there were times when we basically only able to score after set-plays - but we still made it to World Cup finals), but where mentally the strongest and had a tough and reliable, if conservative defense.
On a related, it's opposite world note, it seems like England has a stronger Keeper than Germany now. Joe Hart is fantastic everytime I see him while Neuer is really overrated, I stopped counting how often he was directly responsible for goals conceded in the last 2 years.
