Eh, I found quite a big difference between WoW and GW2. It's only Beta, but there's a jump in combat, flow of PVE, scope, size and just general feel.

As for ESO, I think some of the stuff they're going for is smart. I just don't know why they used the hero engine.

Apparently the game will have lots of product placement, so I'd imagine it won't be a fantasy/medieval setting.

Who says that? As far as I know the only thing they said so far is that it will have a broader appeal then the raid centric WoW.

Who's to say that dragons and wizards can't enjoy a refreshing Coca-Cola?

Last I recall hearing was that Titan was intended to be a more casual MMO than WoW  ::) that you would play alongside WoW as it would be F2P and have less time commitments.

By the time they make a big formal announcement though, I imagine it will be something more than that. There's supposedly a lot of WoW's original A Team on that project. I can't fathom Tigole (bitties) working on a super casual game.

Well WoW is pretty hardcore with raiding being the main thing at level cap, I think they want to get away from that.

And yeah the A-team is working on it.

(thanks for the link PD).

disagree. considering the audience size, blizzard could do well with a starcraft mmo. maybe not with the WoW format, but I think it'd do well.

lol I still remember going to Gamestop after SC2 was revealed and the clerk kept buggering me to pre-order WORLD OF STARCRAFT. I was like dude, last night SC2 was revealed, not World of StarCraft. He continued to argue it was coming out next year lol

Considering there are two SC2 expansions on the horizon, I don't think we'll get a SC mmo. Seems like Titan will be something entirely new, perhaps sci fi based like SC2. I tend to doubt it'll be another high fantasy set mmo

Game Informer has picked up the first official screen of The Elder Scrolls Online (above) and, well, hmmm. I feel like, if I sighted it while at some sort of game screenshot social gathering, I’d congratulate Kingdoms of Amalur and WoW on their successful coupling, and ask them what they’re naming it. Then Elder Scrolls would walk up and inform me that it – and not Kingdoms of Amalur – is currently seeing WoW, and a lightbulb factory’s worth of scandalous thoughts would pop up in everyone’s heads, but no one would say anything. It’d be really awkward.

Gamestop preorder quotas have gotten so bad that some managers require anal rape as a tactic to acquire preorders.
