Just got owned in an online match. Some dude was using the hotseat feature to his benefit, one team was wailing on me while his primary account sat there and pumped up his army. Damn cheater

Hmm I have some issues with an achievement unlocking... I was playing on Normal but then I dropped the difficulty down to help me get a gold skull I was having trouble with. I then finished the third world but forgot to turn the difficulty back up, so the cheev didn't pop. I then quit my game and and changed the difficulty back to normal, then completed all the levels in the third world again (Land of Monsoon Meadows), bit still no achievement

Do I need to start a new game?

Okay got to the snow levels and the cheev for completing Land of Golden Harvest popped... I'll just try starting a new campaign once I beat the game and get all the skulls

I would have said "No, it's published by MS..." but they just launched Wordament on iOS as a free download, so... Anything goes?

There's been no iOS announcement yet, and I'm sure Sho Nuff couldn't say anything even if it was planned.

The final boss is indeed a beast. Don't forget that the only way to kill him is to deal the finishing blow with Akamoto!

Can your other units can damage him? Or does all damage have to be done by Akamoto?

I've only had one attempt at the final level so far, so I definitely have better tactics in mind for next time. I'm thinking a buttload of demon level archers behind a wall of infantry. Also gotta get the Crow dudes macking on the enemies' rice paddies with the quickness, to stop them barfing out so much infantry. Crow guys are definitely my favourite unit. Most fun to use and they look awesome!

Is there any Skulls merch? I would be so down for a Crow Monk t-shirt

just got the achievement for winning a 4 player online match, even though I was just playing team deathmatch against one other human player, and we each had AI bots for our teammates. Sweet!

Just working on the gold skulls and speedrun now. Both easily do-able with my current leet skiils.

Is the data locally stored in any way? Any possibility they're hacking their local data?

Online stat tracking seems pretty rock solid.

I think if you played every level over and over ten times, you could deliberate the AI and know EXACTLY what you do in your turns, and pass them ASAP. Those times are ludicrous, but from someone who has played game for 20+ hours, probably possible if you played the game the right way the whole time.

Got the beat the game in under 3 hours achievement, was pretty easy, just replayed the first half of the game speeding and got my time in under 3 hours. 14 gold skulls to go!

I salute all at 17-BIT for crafting a wonderful game. I enjoyed the entire experience.

TBH getting all the gold skulls was easier than beating the game the first time. Once you understand the AI patterns it's very easy to direct your desired method of play to obtain the skulls.

Anyway, great game and I'm recommending to all my friends! Got a buddy that loves Advance Wars so he'll dig Skulls.

Ah okay -- they use cloud storage, so you download the trial and get unlocked levels. Windows Phone and Windows 8 support that, but that won't fly on Xbox

Dunno. If you have iconic characters to turn into cards or the like (like the ships in FTL) then it seems obvious to go for those, regardless of what the number turns out to be. Less than 10 seems to be the most common. Is there an upper limit Valve suggests?
I just sell mine, but I imagine collectors like it when there are fewer to collect so that they can craft more badges overall.

I wanna say less is probably better, because you only get half from drops, so if your game has 10 cards, then you have to buy 5 from the market to get a full set, but if it only has 6, then you only have to buy 3.
