I can confirm this game is running on PS3 and 360 at this point in time.

This guy is legit since he did a internet speedtest and posted it showing us that he works at Ubisoft  :lol

no wiiU?

I guess not? Unless Nintendo is gonna show it (which would be kinda wierd since Ubi showed off 2 Wii-U games at their conference)

Pretty fucked up if it doesn't have a version

The Wii U is so DOA

They were probably showing the PC version with some extra effects. That's probably why it looked a little better than current gen stuff.

It'll be running on them, but it won't look that good.  That looks about what I'd expect from Wii U ie. not this gen, not next, couple built-in effects in hardware to make it fake being better than it really is (like 3DS).  So yeah, bridge game - probably on every platform under the sun.  But I doubt they'll even put it on Wii U.

EDIT: Haha.

And you know what would be really awesome? Something new announced at E3 that's actually coming this year.

it seems the game will be multiplayer/co-op (going by the end) and they are saying that "everything is connected" so it might as well be

I can believe the demo was running on a PC. I refuse to believe it's a game still set for current-gen consoles. It'd just look horrible stepping any further down than what was shown.

My guess is that it's running on PC because that's the only hardware they can admit it's on at the moment. Everything else is smoke and mirrors.

:lol to no WiiU version though.  :'(

Yes, running on the Wii-U and apparently its an exclusive.

It had some interesting interaction since they were playing using the tablet controller and that newly announced non tablet controller at the same time.

I am legitimately excited about Watch Dogs. It's open-world [which I always like], the shooting mechanic actually looks decent [which is a nice bonus], it's not the same old "you're a gang member shooting cops and dealing drugs" storyline that a lot of these games have, and the hacking angle looks like it can really open up a lot of really awesome gameplay opportunities [which is the major selling point for me]. So, yeah, for the first time since E3 starting, I'm all in.

We really don't know how large that environment was. If that was an enclosed mission that ends when you jump the bridge then I can see how they're working it for current gen stuff.

I'm watching the direct video of watch dogs.  Can current consoles do bokeh? I remember that's a feature in Just Cause 2 PC and one of the highlights of Good Samaritan.  When he does the slow mo shooting, all the lights get that effect.  Or it's just dof and I'm reading too much into it.

The fire reminds me of the Killzone 2 CG fire.  Parts of it remind me of the fake Eight Days trailer too.  Next gen is living up to Sony's lies for this gen  :omg

ok, maybe not the fire

You can fudge a lot of it, but there's a lot of stuff you can't do on current gen consoles, specifically the way they're doing reflections.

That's the one aspect that blared out at me as high end PC versus current gen consoles. It looked fairly nice but it looks pretty jarring how it snaps back and forth. Though this is probably due to how fast the reticule moves in distance.

Do you not get the feeling that, like AssCreed, Uncharted and many other 'new launch window AAA franchises' Watch Dogs will be an interesting test run before a killer sequel? It seems unlikely that they'll be able to get all the new game mechanics clicking AND get the actual content in line AND work with a new engine.

That's the only thing keeping my tumescence in check. Other than not being interested in crappy open-world driving, that is

The first Assassin's Creed had very good core gameplay, but it didn't have much variety which kills the whole point of a sandbox game. I think Watch Dogs will be similar. I remember AC was also announced right as we were transitioning to this generation so they're probably looking to make a big, new franchise out of this. Just showing off the graphics at this point.

MOTHER OF FUCK. I clicked the related "sleeping dogs" and stepped a generation back (to current consoles).

Watch Dogs was clearly running on PC/WiiU.

According to the french guy running Ubisoft, this is a PC, PS3, and 360 game.  Confirmed demo was running on PC.
