Radical making hit and run is really surprising news to me. It's a solid GTA and platformer game with really incredible fan service. Been a longtime since I played but I remember driving the Homer car and the gold rocket car (from the original Itchy and Scratchy creator episode). You could also cheat past most missions by getting out of the car and running to the goal.
I liked Ultimate Destruction too. But 80% of Prototype is bad; escalation in that game is fucked. It takes some time to finally get powerful and have fun, and it is fun for a short while. But then the game introduces stronger, cheaper, stupid enemies and it's not fun anymore.
wait, they made Scarface? just yesterday I was talking with someone about how bizarre the concept of that game is. I hope youtube has the cutscene I want.
Well I can't find it now but the entire concept is, "yo, what if Tony did turn around in the final scene?" and then they just extrapolate what would happen if Tony survives. and there's a cojones meter for killing people, and when it's high enough you go into a first person. It came out around the same time as the Godfather game, which attempted to respect the original story and interweave a new thread with the player character. Scarface didn't bother with any of that shit.
