I just want to (permanently) lose my burden of intelligence, and there are few ways to do that effectively / quickly. I've seen some legitimate research papers on the subject...

they didn't like how the kids on the show talked to their parents. same reason I couldn't watch Fresh Prince :'(

the sad thing is that if you never watched the simpsons, you would most likely have overestimated the wit of a great many people in your life, when they were really just quoting simpsons.

Then they watched an episode with me and realized that wasn't what I was laughing at. Suddenly, my world changed.It was still 100% Disney movies until age 15, though. Still catching up on pop culture.
