Anyone with a modicum of googling abilities knows that ipod touch and iphone have literally the same exact os. After owning an ipod touch for 2+ years, I think I have a pretty good idea of what the os is like. After messing with my new phone and android, I don't think it's far fetched to be able to make a comparison. Stop being an idiot and pissed off because no one bought a crappy Windows phone.

Normally I'd agree with you, but the Nexus 4 is a sufficient leap forward even over the Galaxy that it just might be worth returning the Galaxy and waiting. Besides, you don't want to devastate Andrex    do you?

You might also want to think about insurance too, at least for the first year when retail price is still high...I know some people don't like insurance but a short duration is worth the price plus your carrier will usually overnight the replacement. FYI, the deductible can run as high as $100  (thus the suggestion of 1 year max for insurance).

I started off with an iPod Touch, too, and agree.  Especially now...if the iPod Touch himu had wasn't at least the equivalent of an iPhone 4S, then LOL.

Pretty much all of the shit I'm talking about are based around the ui, which the addition of cameras and mic (my ipod had a camera) makes negligible. It's the small shit like being able to simply click my open apps button and swipe shit out. On iphone doing the same thing requires double tapping on the home button, holding the app's thumbnail and then swiping. Closing apps on the current android os is faster and far more intuitive and that's just a basic feature.

Having a fully customizable space, widgets, instant installation from store, and more are basic stuff that makes the experience simply more enjoyable than ios. Many features and gestures on ios are outdated and require too much effort to do simple tasks.

But noooo, you need a camera and a mic to make an actual critique. Fuck off.

I tried using an Android phone a couple times in the past few days; my friend's mom was having trouble connecting to the wifi network, so I thought I KNOW TECHNOLOGY STUFFS, and tried to give her a hand. I couldn't find the Settings at first, then when I did, it only showed one option to set. Turns out it had been left in some burrowed-down menu, but I couldn't tell it from just looking at it. I eventually figured it out, but I was pretty frustrated trying to use this thing, which is supposedly as intuitive as iOS. It wasn't, for me.

Older Android os' are pretty bad, I agree and I was never impressed by it. But Ice Cream Sandwich (god I feel like a cunt just TYPING THIS) and up are pretty damn clean and intuitive.
