While I think our own celebrity culture is pretty dumb, at least it's our own culture. I get it from that perspective. Why in any way would we care though about a prince and princess from another country.

For what it's worth I've always had a pretty big boner for British culture regarding music and entertainment. But that's because of the quality of the product itself. Not because of status.
