In this case they did, but don't take my word for it, just get a degree in history with this as your specialty like I did. Then you can be sure  ::)

Well maybe I will!

But probably not.

Please explain more what your expertise is of how Nazi's operate in the field?

I've watched A LOT of movies about WWII.   :lol

I mean, come on, Kosma.  I almost bought Inglorious Bastards last night on Blu-ray.  I would've done it too, if it hadn't been for the Daniel Craig two-pack 007 deal for $14.99.

I'm pretty sure this makes me more knowledgeable than you.  Try not to feel bad about it.

If we're entering the credential-waving phase of the thread, I'd venture that Kosma isn't trying to find some clear wallspace to hang all his degrees in moral philosophy.

Hard for me to sympathize with all the people whose lives Lance "fucked over," on account of the fact that the only reason they were in that situation was for snitching. Betsy Andreu snitched and didn't even get stitches; all she got was being called fat.

We have the crappiest trolls.

It can work. Remember when Fresh Prince was utterly humiliated by Cheebs' master's degree? I've also seen quite a few people "win" an argument in the eyes of thread readers by revealing that they had a law degree.

I nearly have a law degree--though I haven't been to class yet this semester. It's almost as if I want to be kicked out, so I can Cajole myself.

People always assume scientists are conservatively biased towards "the establishment". History majors can just point to secondary sources or witnesses of an event to say what did or did not happen. I mean it's easier for people to believe their religious books than a science journal with terminology they can't even fucking read.

You gotta sound right to be right.

That's because you pretty much get a B+ in humanities and most LAS classes just for showing up.  I got an A in a 400 level journalism class in spite of showing up half the time and it isn't because I am a genius.  Grade inflation is out of control.

I have to say that it doesnt work like that in Europe.

If you study something it means all your courses are on that subject. Its not the us system where you major in something but also take cooking classes and journalism and then you get your degree.

There is no taking classes in this or that or grade inflation.

Oh god - I'd have biggest peen of this of literally anyone I'm ever met or heard of - no joke, no hyperbole. It has exactly zero real world value and it probably more destructive than anything because in the real world you are in fact explicitly rewarded just for showing up

most schools funnel you somewhere between a C and a B with minimum effort depending on the major. I doubt getting a liberal arts degree at UC would be that difficult

Yeah most college students can get 2.0-2.5 just by remembering what classes they're taking. Getting above a 3.0 requires actually attending lecture or studying a lot on your own time. Getting om the high 3's would be difficult for any major, maybe even harder for lib arts because those teachers hate making their classes seem easy.

Not surprising, I guess but it still astonishes how he was treated like a god for a decade

There are about eight law classes I've never attended. Worst grade in those classes: B
