You know the deal is that he has such intense feelings for that woman that when he found out their co-worker was railing her, it just absolutely killed him.

He put all that time in waiting for the marriage to fall apart and some asshole swooped in and stole his prize. Now he wants to torch it all down and run back home.

I just want him to come out and say that he has been spying on them and possibly stalking them and that's how he has 'concrete proof'.

I've been in situations where I knew a friend of mine was cheating on his girl, and I'll admit on one occasion I did tell a chick. She pretty much knew anyway

That type of shit. I've lied to people before but at some point it's like dude, handle your shit and leave me out of it. She came over at like 1AM a few days later to "talk" but I didn't go along. I'm an asshole but not that type of asshole.

I've been in multiple similar situations as the op. I just think it's a stupid thing to go onto a forum and hand wring about what to do in a situation like that. If you feel have such a strong friendship with the goddam girl tell her she is being a goddam scuzz. But you don't necessarily have to get into the middle of her marriage for chrissake. Either that, or try to get a little blackmail going.

That's the direction the thread should have gone in instead of paranoid-ass ville. Dude is obviously butthurt married chick cheated (and not with him).
