The Last of US is nothing like Uncharted. That is completely wrong.
The Last Of Us is basically Uncharted without the climbing and a "survival" aspect that was not only extremely basic but laughably unnecessary in how easy the game is with a story that is cliche zombie apocalypse "there might be a cure" story full of average acting at best.
It was a good game, but best game of the year and one of the best of all time? fuck no.
How is it like Uncharted?
You can't play it like Uncharted. You can't run and gun at all like in Uncharted. The pacing is entirely different. One enemy in TLOU is an actual relevant threat. Gun fights will not play out the same in TLOU since one shot can knock you down.
The survival aspect may be basic, but I don't believe the game was said to be a sim, so I'm not sure what you wanted. The survival aspect is basically you just have to prep and make things. Where resources scarce or something? No they weren't, but the game is still all about you thinking about encounters and how you go about them.
IS the game easy? I guess you found it easy. Many people didn't, I found it modertly challenging in a different way then an Uncharted game. Was the stealth basic? Yes, but it's not a stealth game in the sense that you aren't supposed to kill everyone. It's a stealth game in the sense that it's an option. You can get pass some enemies and you may want to because you don't want to waste a shiv. it's stealth in the sense that you can use it to sneak up to kill people, not get through the entire level unnoticed. And it works exactly the way it's supposed to in this game. Sorry you found it super easy.
Cliche Zombie Apocalypse? Yeah I guess, but the story isn't really about the zombies. Thats just the backdrop. While that's cliche it still executed it fine, so whats the problem. All zombie stuff is cliche.
And average acting? I don't see it.
This just sounds like backlash to the hype, not the game.
