Newsflash: Most every popular site is going to have virals trying to infiltrate their ranks. Just in reddit's case they suck ass at calling them out. /r/hailcorporate is more paranoid "hey guys this may be a viral" than actual hard evidence.

In fact, Hail Corporate is so easy to troll a joke theme-skin for the off season of the Walking Dead subreddit being photoshopped Burger King logos drove them into a rage for weeks.

And god Spike's TV coverage is so bad. G4's was just as bad but it seemed to have more talking heads and less movie/TV ads while filling the air-time between conferences.

Is he running MySQL for the back end? Seems like it's always MySQL that chokes and dies when big forums get high traffic. EL's talked a lot about the powerful hardware he's thrown at the problem but it strikes me as more of a software issue.
