I just hate the whole self-hating gamer stuff over it.  It's a problem that starts with parents and social environments people are raised in.  The game industry responds to that.  People ask for more games with women protagonists, but those are highly unlikely to sell, because games don't have any influence over what people want or think.  The marketing person who approved the line knew it would be edgy.  "Rape" WAS a common term in competitive gaming (and believe it or not, it's not used commonly in fighting games anymore, aside from a few idiots and it's definitely not used in any esports streams) and they were playing off/hinting at that.   It's not too surprising that a company as culturally laggy as MS would throw something like that in there.

If you think about it, the OT is now more active than the gaming side used to be when EL took over. He should just spin it off into it's own entity. That way if one side is having a major event (E3 for gaming and World Cup for OT) it won't bring the whole thing down.
