Lost Tapes: great
Distant Relatives: good
I wish Nas would just let someone pick his beats. Life Is Good works in part due to No ID executive producing it and keeping Nas on track with some nice production; still, Nas picked some pretty damn questionable beats (Reach Out comes to mind). EVERY producer wants to work with him, it's odd that he sticks to the same couple dudes, and when he does branch out it can be a horrible misfire (Summer On Smash...).
Say what you will about Jay, nearly all his albums have stellar production. I don't see why Nas can't call up Alchemist, Madlib, Harry Fraud, T-Minus, El-p...I don't care, just get some dope producers. I'm glad he's getting stuff from the Justice League (No Introduction).
