I think you need to reread his post.  He wasn't saying the entire grown male fanbase was JO'ing to the show and he wasn't saying the show caused grown men to JO to cartoon horses.  He's just saying that group does indeed exist and he can't tolerate it like some of the people on GAF who call it "harmless".
