Haha, nope. Just tried it and it said GMAIL AND HOTMAIL NOT ALLOWED GRRRRR. I had to keep using my university address even though I've been out of university for 5 years.

My account is tied to a domain I no longer own, let alone have e-mail for. I thought someone once said you could ask to use your gmail account if you've been on there long enough as "confirmed" already or whatever but I never bothered to find out if that was true or a misunderstanding from a GAF Gold type comment.

Yes. You can't see user passwords in the vB admin panel.
