I did stuff off a tutorial today, it's pretty crazy how much shit is necessary and how many different brushes/tools, colors/creams and techniques one has to acquire.

Yeah, you can get pretty crazy with make-up, but I think it's just as impressive how far you can take very little. Regularly exfoliating your skin and throwing some light eyeliner/mascara on can make your face pop without giving it that waxy, photo-shoot look.

He's 20, 4 year relationship, she's kissing an ex. I'm not on the "omg she fucked up dump her train" but he's young and there's no reason to me to stay in a long term relationship if she's catching feels for other people. I'm not even judging her. They're both young and probably stupid and narrow minded right now. Let's just say the amount of people I know who got into a relationship in their late teens/early twenties and let it go on for far too long is kind of high because of being young, naive and lacking experiences. There are so many people out there no need to assume that someone "is the one" if they're really not and there are glaring problems.

FWIW, the naivite of some guys in that thread, the sheer inhuman standards they think everyone should be held to : actually brought my mood down today every time I visited the thread. People were way too eager to poison a clearly already troubled relationship and sow further doubt. They know fuck all about the OP or his girl... Four years waved away with no attempt to understand that some problems can motivate even good people to do bad or regretful things.

Honesty from a girl in that situation is refreshing - he doesn't have to forgive her, but I don't see the point in people wading in to demonize her further when they don't really know her. It reeks of projecting other people's bad experiences.. which they probably didn't try and understand either.
