To be fair, the avatar bandwagon isn't just Sony exclusive. The "Only on X-box" (until the DRM fiasco made that crash and burn in hilariously quick fashion ) run-up and the Luigi/Pokemon/Wonderful 101/whatever sticking hats or whatever things Nintendo fans do.

Though I guess the "Kaz-ification" of .gifs is a terribly Sony exclusive thing...
